Facebook seems to have caught attention of yet another self replicating application which is spreading itself by Spamming your friend’s wall posts.
Here is a screenshot of how it looks like :

I have been noticing this link being posted on my wall posts and aswell as walls of my friends. This is not a video as it looks like. Its an application in disguise of a video. On clicking, you would be taken to application access page.
How to prevent yourself from this SPAM attack
Hopefully, Facebook will remove this application and would take corrective actions against this application. Till then, users are requested NOT to click any link and if possible, should disable Wall posts being posted on your wall by friends. If that sounds extreme then yes it is. However, I would not like my Friend list to get SPAMMED with this ridiculous application.
Please do not give access to this application. There is no video to be seen. [Honest]

This is not the first time: Since Facebook has become one of the biggest website (social networking) and finding the target user is easy. So all the spammers and hackers trying their luck here. Someday back on techcrunch I read an article about how someone made million of $ via spamming.
Like Harsh said, Fb as become an abode for spammers. Almost daily I see someone posting such videos or pictures. Don’t understand how people get lured so easily by scammers
with adding facebook advert facebook allowed posting unlimited links on friend’s wall without even asking for word verification, this may too lead to uneven spam, that is why these bad guys have developed scripts which posts these type of links on walls.
Facebook is not the only one facing such problems, now even Twitter has joined the list.
Now, facebook is under attack with another video spam “This video should have millions of views”
I guess this could be useful http://goo.gl/4WTUT
Stay Safe everyone.
