Wow 11 comments! This comment is going to be a bit long so please bear with me.
@Paritosh : I appluade! Two hours before your exam and you are on a blog! Lol. That's inspiring.

@srivathsan.GK : I am the guy who always misses the first lecture at college. Once, a teacher remarked, "So, any new sites you discovered today?"

@Uttoran Sen @Deepak @Navin Yup. I agree with Raju also. His comment just very appropriate.

@Aditya : I think older people make an issue out of this and there is a reason for it also. When a consumer faces hardware driver problems on switching from Windows to Linux then yes its complicated! Its no fault of the user.

We have so many Windows Versions to choose from, Starter, Home, Home Premium, Enterprise, Ultimate. I mean come on. People need a break.

@Kevin : Lol. Simply LOL

Thanks to all those who joined the discussion and also to those who might join in future :)

There are always pros and cons with everything in this world, and there can be a long debate about the merits and demerits of technology in our lives!!

Just keep doing what you feel like! ;)

Just 10 hours in front of the laptop? I spend around 8-10 hours in front of a desktop and then come home and spend another 4-5 hours on the laptop :)

And I suppose if you are doing something constructive, then obsession will only increase your progress rate. Most people who are successful are obsessive.

I think such ideas that technology is making life difficult are a little unfair. Yes I am a Twitter and Facebook addict but no longer a Email Addict. I may spend a lot of time in front of the computer screen but a lot less in front of the TV.
So yes it changes the way we live but I doubt it actually complicates life too much.
By the way you really forgot your admit card for the exam? :-P

I am not so much into serious blogging n stuff..so i know where i have to limit myself..one thing bloggers can do is set a schedule..a timetable on the day for themselves and work only according to that..keep the work hours divided into couples of hours..i.e try working in 2-hrs blocks of time..after every 2 hr take a 15-20 min (or maybe even a half hour break) and get off ur comp ..watch TV..listen to music..close eyes..just relax..or maybe even take a nap..!!

its all about balance, if you able to maintaining it then you are good, else technology will take over you. also, we must agree to the fact that we are not just surfers, we are bloggers and to maintain a successful blog we need to give it time, apart from that the internet is also addictive, which includes browsing twiter and watching videos for hours on youtube which we can't call specifically working but merely enjoying the net...

all i can say that you are certainly not alone, and its not even bad :)
