How to Solve the Spirit Jailbreak Error – c0000005
When jailbreaking the iPod Touch or iPhone. Some of you might encounter an error message :
Error c0000005
Solution
The solution to the “Failed to Jailbreak – c0000005″ error is to do the following :
- Right click on the Spirit.exe and choose properties
- In the Compatibility Tab, choose Windows 98 / Me
- Check the Administrative privileges check-box
- Click OK

Now when you try to jailbreak your iPod Touch or iPhone after closing and running the application again. It would be a success!

Solution to failed to jailbreak < error code : 1). Could any one suggest solution.
The solution is simple: ACTIVATE YOUR IPHONE NORMALLY, THEN JAILBREAK W/SPIRIT. IF YOU DON’T WANT AT&T, USE sn0wBreeze and select the option to hacktivate (ACTIVATE NORMALLY WITH ANOTHER CARRIER)

Fix doesn’t work, still get the error message, and Windows seven home premium says dl.exe, MobileSync.exe has stopped working.
Some more info; trying to jailbreak iPod Touch 8G, model MC086ZP, Firmware 3.1.3(7E18)
Tried fix, still get error, restarted spirit made sure fix was loaded in spirit compatability screen, tried again.
Still no go.
